Digital innovation carried out by PT bukit asam Tbk (PTBA) resulted in 4 awards at the Indonesia Digital Innovation & Achievement (IDIA) Awards 2023. The awards were handed over in Jakarta on Wednesday (8/11/2023).
The award categories received by PTBA are Best Overall Digital Innovation & Achievement 2023, Best Digital Technology & IoT Implementation 2023 in Mining Industry.
Apart from that, President Director of PT bukit asam Tbk (PTBA) Arsal Ismail was awarded Best CEO Indonesia Digital Innovation & Achievement of The Year 2023. Then VP of Information Technology PT bukit asam Tbk (PTBA) Andri Mahendra won Best Senior Executive Indonesia Digital Innovation & Achievement of The Year 2023.
Regarding this award, Andri Mahendra expressed his thanks. This appreciation increasingly encourages PTBA to develop various digital technology-based innovations to support all business processes.
We feel proud and grateful for the appreciation given. Digital transformation is part of PTBAs strategic steps to increase efficiency and sustainability. This will continue to be strengthened to support the companys business processes in the future, said Andri.
Since 2020, PTBA has had the CISEA (Corporate Information System and Enterprise Application) application. Through CISEA, mining operational activities can be monitored in real time via cellphone.
The CISEA application integrates several systems at once, including Automation & SCADA System Integration, bukit asam Mine Dispatch Optimization System, Automatic Train Loading Station, Slope Stability Radar (SSR), Digital Telemetry, Integrated Water Monitoring System (SPARING).
Using the Internet of Things makes decision making faster, more precise and accurate. Digitalization also supports the implementation of Good Mining Practice, explained Andri.
The IDIA Awards 2023 aims to provide appreciation and awards to companies deemed successful in achieving digital innovation and implementing IoT better and more effectively.
The assessment was carried out by a jury consisting of academics, practitioners, as well as founders of ICT-related associations and judges from ministries and government institutions such as the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo), the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), and the Research and Technology Agency. National Innovation (BRIN).
The 2023 IDIA Awards Jury gave PTBA a score of 4.00 out of a scale of 5.00. The score is based on Openness, Accountability, Responsibility, Independence, Equality and Fairness.
