Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - adaro's #Hidupkan Hati or Ignite Heart Movement has gradually distributed 24,000 packages of basic needs assistance to poor or underprivileged residents around its operational areas from June to October 2024.
The distribution has recorded to touch 290 locations spread across five provinces, namely South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Sumatra (Lahat), Central Java, and DKI Jakarta.
adaro Foundation (YABN) representative Rody here on Sunday said for five months the program has been running well and received a positive response from local community.
"This program is part the our company's commitment to provide a positive contribution to the surrounding community, especially residents in need," said Rody.

The end of series of distribution of basic food packages was carried out in South Barito (Central Kalimantan) and Tabalong (south Kalimantan), including several locations such as Islamic boarding schools and churches.
Rody pointed out that community support and participation was very important to the success of the program that had created a positive impact on daily livess of people.
He revealed that the process of the distribution was not easy, condisering the gographical challanges had to be faced. However, with solid cooperation between the team and the local community, adaro was able to reach the residents who need it most.
"Even though we are in a remote area with challanging road condition, we are grateful to be able to allot a total of24,000 basic food packages to pre-propsperous community in adaro's operational areas," he said.
It is hoped that every package distributed could support and ease the burden on the lives of underprivileged residents, especially in difficult times like now.
The adaro #Hidupkan Hati initiative is part of the company's social responsibility to contribute to the welfare of the society.
"We are committed to continuing similar programs in the future to create better change for society," said Rody.
