Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The district government of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, appreciated a private company for building Bina Bintang inclusive Early Childhood Education (PAUD) for children with special needs, in Semayap Village, Pulau Laut Utara Sub-district.Assistant I for Government and People's Welfare Minggu Basuki here said that the opening of this inclusive PAUD is part of efforts to equalize education for children with special needs."This is the first inclusive PAUD in Kotabaru," he stated here as reported on Friday.Read also: Kotabaru launches "Gasing" mathematics trainingRead also: DPRD speaker supports Kotabaru govt prioritizes education He said the local government appreciated PT arutmin North Pulau Laut Coal's (NPLC's) initiative to open a school for children with special needs who are not accomodated in regular preschools.He said this is in line with the local government's program to provide education from early age in the Kotabaru District."Hopefully this PAUD will be the beginning of the growth and development of children with special needs into outsanding individuals," he said.Senakin Mine And NPLCT Manager Novriyadi expressed his gratitude to all parties for the opening of this inclusive school in Kotabaru.
