Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru District Government congratulated and highly appreciated H Andi Syamsudin Arsyad (Haji Isam) for being awarded the Bintang Mahaputera Utama medal of honor by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto. Kotabaru Regent H Muhammad Rusli expressed his congratulation and appreciation to H Andi Syamsudin Arsyad for the medal of merit and honor by the President as a symbol of dedication of native son to the nation from South Kalimantan.“Haji Isam contributed to driving regional and national economic growth, with his business creating numerous job opportunities, for both local and outside residents, and has supported national development,” he said in Kotabaru as reported on Friday.The Regent said that Haji Isam business activities have brought honor to Banua (homeland, South Kalimantan) and are proof that local entrepreneurs can contribute significantly to national development.Read also: PT Jhonlin a pioneer in implementing B50 in Indonesia: MinisterThis award of honor is tangible proof of the state's recognition of Haji Isam's services and dedication in driving the nation's economic growth, particularly through mining, transportation and infrastructure sectors. The Bintang Mahaputera Utama is awarded to figures deemed to have rendered extraordinary service in maintaining the integrity, continuity and the glory of the Unitary State on Indonesia through widely recognized dedication and sacrifice.The award adds to the list of national figures who have received state honors for their dedication and service to the nation and state.


H Andi Syamsudin Arsyad, better known as Haji Isam, was bron in Bone, South Sulawesi on January 1, 1977. He is known as the owner of PT Jhonlin Group (JG). This business group operates in various sectors, including mining, port services, transportation, and manufacturing.The company also oversees several subsidiaries, includingPT Jhonlin Baratama, PT Jhonlin Marine and Shipping, PT Jhonlin Air Transport, PT Jhonlin Agromandiri, PT Jhonlin Batu Mandiri, and Jhonlin Agro Raya. Currently, the company employs approximately 40,000 workers from various regions, including Kotabaru and Tanah Bumbu districts.
